Perfect for busy pet parents, senior animals, or pets who simply prefer the familiar surroundings of home, Fetch The Vet offers a modern, affordable, and convenient solution to traditional vet care.
Please note: Fetch The Vet is a small animal-only service (cats and dogs) and does not provide emergency or after-hours veterinary care.
In case of an emergency, please contact your nearest veterinary hospital/clinic.
Meet The Pack

Dr Ben Porter
Top Dog & Head of House Calls
Ben graduated from the University of Queensland in 2009 and began his journey in general practice in Shepparton, where he discovered the deep joy of supporting both pets and the people who love them.
Over the years, his journey has taken him from busy regional clinics to boardrooms in multinational animal health companies, but his heart has always stayed close to the pets and families that make this work so meaningful.
He started Fetch the Vet at the end of 2025 as he believes vet visits should feel less like a chore and more like a treat - for both pets and their humans. Compassionate, accessible, affordable, and convenient veterinary care is what Fetch the Vet is all about.
When he’s not driving from house to house with a stethoscope in one hand and treats in the other, he’s passionate about giving back globally. He often volunteers his time and skills overseas, helping communities where access to veterinary services is limited. It’s humbling, rewarding work that reminds him why he chose this path in the first place.
When not on the move, he’s recharging in nature - skiing, spending time at the beach, or sharing quiet moments under the open sky or in his garden.

Bella
Chief Meowdical Officer (CMO)
Bella takes her role very seriously, which mostly involves judging everyone from her sunlit throne, occasionally swiping pens off desks, and ensuring no shoelace goes unbattled.
She’s fiercely committed to “paw-sitive outcomes”, and believes every staff meeting should be followed by snacks and an episode of MAFs.
Clients love her for her no-nonsense stare, though we’re not entirely sure if it’s love or fear. Either way, she runs the place, and we just fetch the vet.

Woody
Chief Taste Officer
(CTO)
Woody was born to be a Chief Taste Officer. Every treat, kibble, and gourmet morsel must pass his rigorous sniff, lick, and dramatic walk-away test.
With a nose finely tuned to detect sub-paw snacks, he ensures only the tastiest, crunchiest, and most nap-worthy foods make it onto our shelves.
Whether he's lounging near the treat cupboard or dramatically sighing during taste trials, Woody is the final word on flavour. If it doesn’t impress him, it’s not Fetch The Vet-worthy.

Georgie
Senior Executive of Selective Participation
At 19 years young, Georgie has gracefully transitioned into a consultancy-style role where she does what she wants, when she wants—and only if she feels like it.
As our most seasoned team member, she offers wisdom in the form of judgmental stares, dramatic sighs, and occasional appearances at the food bowl.
She no longer attends meetings (or anything, really), but her presence is felt—especially when someone dares to sit in her spot.
Retirement may be on the horizon, but until then, Georgie remains our furry icon of graceful defiance.
